Dr. Wong received his Ph.D. from University of Strathclyde, UK., is Vice President – Academic at BERJAYA University College of Hospitality, Malaysia. He is committed to develop his expertise in the field of International Tourism Policy and Strategy. Kong-Yew received recognition from both national and international bodies in the field of Tourism Economics. He is consistently invited to present his research output at prestigious conferences. Kong-Yew advises numerous ministries, home and abroad, in the areas of tourism industrial policy and impact. At the Centre for Research in Tourism and Recreation, Peking University, China, Kong-Yew is Visiting Research Fellow. His active scholarly leadership role is witnessed by the role of – Director, Tourism Institute of Policy Studies (TIPS) and Founding Member of International Tourism Studies Association (ITSA).
